In the name of God Amen. I HONOR GLASSON of the parish of Maddern in the county of Cornwall. Widow being sick and weak in body but of sound perfect and disposing mind and memory praised to God for the same. But considering the certainty of death and uncertain state of this transitory life. do make ordain and declare this my last will and testament in a manner and form following.
And first I commit my soul unto Almighty God who gave it hoping and believing through his great mercy and the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ to be partaker of a blessed resurrection, my body I commit to a Christian burial to be decently interred, and as to that portion of worldly estate it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof in manner following.
Firstly I give and devise to JOHN GLASSON and GEORGE GLASSON sons of my son JOHN GLASSON and to each of them five shillings of lawful money to be paid them respectively within six months after my decease by my executor here in after named.
Also all my household goods and implements of household I give devise and bequeath to JANE GLASSON and SUSANNA GLASSON the wives of my sons JOHN GLASSON and THOMAS GLASSON to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
Also I give devise and bequeath all the sythes of corn and grain of what nature or kind so ever roming and growing or to grow in a certain tenement called Hea within the said parish of Maddern unto THOMAS GLASSON Jnr. son of my son THOMAS GLASSON and all my estate right and title thereto.To hold to the said THOMAS GLASSON the younger his executors administrators and assignes during the remainder of the term yet to come by virtue of the original lease thereof. If the lives therein named or either of them shall so long happen to live.
Lastly all the rest of my goods and chattels rights and credits whatsoever and wheresoever I hereby give devise and bequeath to my said grandson THOMAS GLASSON the younger who of this my last will and testament I make ordain and appoint my whole and sole executor. Revoking hereby all former wills by me made either by word or in writing. In witness wherefore I the said HONOR GLASSON have here unto set my hand and seal and published the same to be my last will and testament the thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine.

In the 1851 UK Census, she is listed as Jane Jones, a widow aged 79, born in St Kevern (sic), Cornwall. She is living by herself in Roseworthy, Gwinear, Cornwall. (HO107/1916, Folio 496, Page 8).

GENERAL NOTES:
Either Jenifer or Jane (The two names are commonly used interchangeably in Cornwall). Daughter of Richard and Paschas? (Rutter) Perry, who had married in Sithney on 25 June 1763.

BIRTH: Although she stated in the 1841 Census that she was born in St Keverne, the family lived in Sithney/Wendon/Helston area. Her known siblings are: John, (baptised in Sithey in 1770), Peter (baptised in Sithney in 1775), Mary (baptised in Wendron in 1778), and Susannah (baptised in Wendron in 1780).
