OBITUARY: Funeral services for Archie J. Nate, 67, of 1513 Philippen St., Manitowoc,who died Thursday morning, will be at 10:00 a. m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. D. L. Krembs will be Mass celebrant with the Rev Alois Pimeskren as deacon and the Rev Gerald Falk as subdeacon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitwoc.

Mr. Nate was born June 24, 1900, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Jacob and Catherine Dugan Nate. He attended St. Patrick Parochial School, Maple Grove, and married Irene Welch Oct. 23, 1928 in Maple Grove. They owned and operated a farm on Rt. 2, Cato, until 1960
when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Nate was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Edgar, of Manitowoc and Thomas, of Rt. 2, Cato: two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Rose Jean)Dvorachek,of Rt. 1, Reedsville, and Mrs. Russell (Bernita) Schenian, of Rt. 2,Cato; a brother, Charles, of Rt. 2, Cato; and 17 grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters proceeded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. by the members of the Holy Name Society and parish.
