OBITUARY: The Philipsburg Mail, MT, 23 May 1889

Death of Mrs. Harry Argall

The announcement made last Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Harry Argall was received with sincere regret by this entire community. She was a devoted wife and loving mother of two small children, the youngest a boy of only three weeks. In the death of Mrs. Argall Granite loses one of its best and noblest women. She was esteemed by all who knew her in life, and will long be remembered for her many acts of kindness. Everything that medicine and skill could do was done but all was in vain, and at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening she passed quietly away into the great unknown. Her mother Mrs. Moore, and her sister Olive Moore and a brother all reside in Granite. The heartfelt sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband
and relatives.

The funeral took place from the residence at 2 o'clock today, and not many times in the history of Granite has a larger and more solemn procession wended its way down the dreary mountain road to the Philipsburg cemetery where the interment was made.
