In 1925, Marsden Argall wrote: "In Dirty Pool, now known as Peterville, we called at the Langworthy house where I met four maiden daughters of Phillip Langworthy who was grandmother's brother. In their yard is the Langworthy well, at which I suppose Papa used to get the water. I was amused at talking to the four quaint sisters at their bluntness, which I believe was a characteristic of grandma's. When I lined them up in front of the house for a picture, two of them remarked that they had never had a picture taken before and that they would be sure to damage the camera. Directly across the street from the Langworthy house is the building in which papa's uncle Sam (ARGALL) had his shoemaker's shop."
