OBITUARY January 11th, Eagle, Eagle, Colorado:

Former Woolcott resident J.W. (Walsh) Holland, 56, died Friday, January 5th in Lakewood, Colorado, after six weeks of illness. Holland, a retired rancher, lived in Lakewood for 25 years. He owned and operated the Holland Ranch at Woolcott for many years.
He was born February 22, 1886, at Eureka, Colorado, and spent his childhood in Woolcott. He married Blanche A Mahoney, in January 1913 at Glenwood Springs. His wife died on October 21, 1961.
Holland's daughter, Mr J K (Rose) Argall, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive him. Funeral services were held January 9th in Glenwood Springs.
