(Descendant Olive Kathreen (Argall) Berg (#1145) stated that the birth occured on 30 April 1840; Roger Cornish (Society of Cornishes) also confirms that she was born on this date in 1840, (as the daughter of James Cornish and Mary Gilbert). However, the parish register clearly lists this date as that for her baptism.
